วันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2569 จากกรณีที่เกิดกระแสวิพากษ์วิจารณ์อย่างหนักในโลกออนไลน์ หลังจากได้มีการเผยแพร่คลิปวิดีโอเหตุการณ์บน รถไฟฟ้า BTS เผยให้เห็นพฤติกรรมของกลุ่มเยาวชนนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติ ที่แสดงอาการคึกคะนองและตะโกนคุยเล่นเสียงดังสนั่นลั่นขบวนรถ รบกวนผู้โดยสารคนอื่น ๆ ตลอดเส้นทาง จนมีผู้โดยสารสาวชาวไทยตัดสินใจเข้าไปตักเตือนด้วยภาษาอังกฤษอย่างสุภาพ เพื่อขอความร่วมมือให้ลดระดับเสียงลงตามมารยาทในการใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะ ก่อนบานปลายกลายเป็นการสาดถ้อยคำหยาบคายใส่กันอย่างดุเดือด อ่านข่าว : 'ขอโทษที่เอาเงินมาเข้าประเทศxึง!' ฟังชัดๆ นาทีแก๊งต่างชาติด่ากราดสาวไทยกลางรถไฟฟ้า

ล่าสุด เพจเฟซบุ๊ก “ปราชญ์ สามสี” เขียนจดหมายเปิดผนึก เรียน เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐอิตาลีประจำประเทศไทย และผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยระบุข้อความว่า จดหมายเปิดผนึก

ตามเหตุการณ์ที่ปรากฏว่ามีกลุ่มวัยรุ่นชาวอิตาลีส่งเสียงดังรบกวนผู้โดยสาร และเมื่อได้รับการตักเตือนโดยชาวไทย กลับตอบโต้ด้วยถ้อยคำที่มีลักษณะดูหมิ่นคนไทย อาทิ การกล่าวว่า “ขอโทษด้วยที่นำเงินมาให้คนไทย” รวมถึงการแสดงกิริยาที่ไม่เหมาะสม เช่น การชูนิ้วกลาง การใช้ถ้อยคำหยาบคาย และการพยายามขัดขวางการบันทึกวิดีโอ ข้าพเจ้าขอแสดงความไม่พอใจอย่างยิ่งต่อพฤติกรรมดังกล่าว ซึ่งไม่เพียงเป็นการขาดมารยาทในที่สาธารณะ แต่ยังสะท้อนถึงทัศนคติที่ไม่เหมาะสมและเป็นการลดทอนคุณค่าความเป็นมนุษย์ของผู้อื่นอย่างชัดเจน

การตักเตือนให้ลดระดับเสียงในพื้นที่สาธารณะเป็นสิทธิอันชอบธรรมของผู้ร่วมเดินทางทุกคน มิใช่เหตุอันควรที่จะนำไปสู่การใช้ถ้อยคำเหยียดหยามทางสัญชาติหรือดูหมิ่นศักดิ์ศรีของผู้อื่น การแสดงออกในลักษณะดังกล่าวถือเป็นการไม่เคารพต่อความเป็นมนุษย์อย่างร้ายแรง ผู้มาเยือนประเทศไทยพึงเคารพต่อประชาชน กฎหมาย และมารยาททางสังคม เช่นเดียวกับที่คนไทยพึงปฏิบัติเมื่อเดินทางไปยังต่างประเทศ

ข้าพเจ้าขอความกรุณาให้สถานเอกอัครราชทูตอิตาลีและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องดำเนินการตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริง และหากพบว่ามีการกระทำตามที่ปรากฏ ขอให้มีการดำเนินการที่เหมาะสม อาทิ การตักเตือน การแสดงความรับผิดชอบ และการกล่าวขอโทษต่อผู้ได้รับผลกระทบ

ประเทศไทยและอิตาลีต่างเป็นประเทศที่มีอารยธรรมและมีความสัมพันธ์อันดีต่อกันมาอย่างยาวนาน การกระทำของบุคคลเพียงบางกลุ่มไม่ควรถูกเหมารวมถึงประชาชนชาวอิตาลีทั้งหมด อย่างไรก็ตาม พฤติกรรมที่ไม่เหมาะสมดังกล่าวก็มิอาจถูกมองข้ามหรือปล่อยผ่านจนกลายเป็นการยอมรับการดูหมิ่นและการเหยียดหยามต่อประชาชนในประเทศเจ้าบ้าน

คนไทยมิได้เรียกร้องการปฏิบัติที่เหนือกว่าผู้อื่น หากแต่เพียงประสงค์จะได้รับความเคารพอย่างเท่าเทียมในฐานะเพื่อนมนุษย์

To His Excellency the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Thailand and All Relevant Parties,
With regard to the reported incident involving a group of Italian youths who were making excessive noise and disturbing other passengers, and who, after being asked to lower their voices, allegedly responded with remarks insulting Thai people—including the statement that they were “ Sorry for bringing money to Thai people”—as well as inappropriate gestures and conduct, such as raising their middle fingers, using abusive language, and attempting to obstruct the recording of the incident, I wish to express my profound dissatisfaction with such behaviour.

Their actions demonstrate not only a serious lack of courtesy in a public place, but also an inappropriate attitude that clearly undermines the dignity and humanity of others.
Asking someone to reduce excessive noise in a public area is a legitimate right of every fellow passenger. It should never become a pretext for making derogatory remarks based on nationality or for insulting another person’s dignity. Such conduct constitutes a serious failure to respect the basic humanity of others.
Visitors to Thailand are expected to respect its people, laws, and social customs, just as Thai citizens are expected to do when travelling abroad.

I respectfully request that the Embassy of the Italian Republic and the relevant authorities investigate the facts surrounding this incident. Should it be established that the individuals acted as reported, I ask that appropriate measures be taken, including issuing a formal warning, requiring them to accept responsibility for their conduct, and offering an apology to those affected.

Thailand and Italy are both civilised nations that have maintained warm and friendly relations for many years. The conduct of a small group of individuals should not be generalised as representative of the Italian people as a whole. Nevertheless, such inappropriate behaviour must not be overlooked or allowed to pass without consequence, as doing so could be interpreted as tolerating the humiliation and discriminatory treatment of citizens of the host country.
Thai people are not asking to be treated as superior to anyone else. We ask only to be treated with equal dignity and respect as fellow human beings.

A Sua Eccellenza l’Ambasciatore della Repubblica Italiana presso il Regno di Thailandia e a tutte le autorità competenti,

In riferimento all’episodio riportato, nel quale un gruppo di giovani italiani avrebbe parlato ad alta voce disturbando gli altri passeggeri e, dopo essere stato invitato ad abbassare il tono, avrebbe reagito con espressioni offensive nei confronti del popolo thailandese — tra cui l’affermazione di “portare denaro ai thailandesi” — nonché con comportamenti inappropriati, quali mostrare il dito medio, utilizzare un linguaggio volgare e tentare di impedire la registrazione di un video, desidero esprimere la mia profonda indignazione per tale condotta.

Un simile comportamento non rappresenta soltanto una grave mancanza di educazione in un luogo pubblico, ma riflette anche un atteggiamento inappropriato che sminuisce chiaramente la dignità e il valore umano degli altri.

Chiedere a qualcuno di abbassare la voce in uno spazio pubblico è un diritto legittimo di ogni passeggero e non può in alcun modo giustificare l’uso di espressioni discriminatorie basate sulla nazionalità o di parole volte a umiliare la dignità altrui. Una simile condotta costituisce una grave mancanza di rispetto verso la dignità umana.
Coloro che visitano la Thailandia sono tenuti a rispettarne la popolazione, le leggi e le norme di convivenza sociale, così come i cittadini thailandesi sono tenuti a comportarsi quando viaggiano all’estero.

Chiedo rispettosamente all’Ambasciata d’Italia e alle autorità competenti di verificare i fatti relativi all’accaduto. Qualora venisse confermato che tali comportamenti si sono effettivamente verificati, auspico che siano adottate misure appropriate, quali un richiamo formale, l’assunzione di responsabilità e la presentazione di scuse alle persone coinvolte.

La Thailandia e l’Italia sono entrambe nazioni di grande civiltà e intrattengono da lungo tempo rapporti amichevoli. Le azioni di un ristretto gruppo di individui non devono essere generalizzate né attribuite all’intero popolo italiano. Tuttavia, comportamenti così inappropriati non possono essere ignorati o lasciati senza conseguenze, poiché ciò potrebbe essere interpretato come un’accettazione dell’umiliazione e della discriminazione nei confronti dei cittadini del Paese ospitante.
Il popolo thailandese non chiede di essere trattato in modo superiore agli altri, ma desidera soltanto ricevere pari rispetto e dignità in quanto parte della stessa umanità.

จากนั้น เพจเฟซบุ๊ก “ปราชญ์ สามสี” ยังโพสต์อีกว่า หากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตอิตาลีประจำประเทศไทยยังไม่มีการตอบสนองอย่างเหมาะสมต่อพฤติกรรมดังกล่าว โดยเฉพาะในประเด็นการกล่าวขอโทษและถ้อยคำที่มีลักษณะเหยียดหยามคนไทย เรื่องนี้อาจขยายวงกว้างและสร้างความไม่พอใจในสังคมมากขึ้น จนอาจบานปลายเกินกว่าจะควบคุมได้ จึงขอให้เร่งแสดงท่าทีอย่างรับผิดชอบ เพื่อยุติปัญหาด้วยความเข้าใจและความเคารพซึ่งกันและกัน

If the Embassy of Italy in Thailand does not respond appropriately to this incident—particularly regarding an apology and the derogatory remarks directed at Thai people—the matter may attract wider public attention and cause growing dissatisfaction, potentially escalating beyond control. Out of genuine concern, we respectfully urge the Embassy to demonstrate responsibility promptly and help resolve the situation through mutual understanding and respect.

Qualora l’Ambasciata d’Italia in Thailandia non rispondesse in modo adeguato a questo episodio, in particolare per quanto riguarda le scuse e le espressioni offensive rivolte al popolo thailandese, la vicenda potrebbe attirare un’attenzione pubblica sempre maggiore e suscitare crescente malcontento, rischiando di degenerare oltre ogni possibilità di controllo.
